Funny. I can so relate. I catch myself all the time thinking that some external change is going to make me happy. But it’s bullshit. I read an article a while back about a study they did on people who’d won a lottery. Their happiness did spike for a short time, but every damn one of them went back to the same general level of perceived happiness before they won. That said, I think there are conditions that would try the heart and soul of just about anyone.
Real life woman. Virtual World avatar. Likes top shelf vodka, dominant men, blues, sunsets and playing darts. Dislikes insecurity, rap, small children and clowns. I'm either behind the bar or under it.
