Crap Mariner is collecting portraits of his avatar. While that may sound vain to some, I know better. Crap’s persona as the bitter curmudgeon is well established; hated by some, loved by some. But his constant support of the arts in Second Life isn’t so public. His avatar alone is an objet d’art, and a gallery full of other artist’s view of him will be as well. This portrait is a tiny token of my appreciation of his constant support and encouragement.
The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
What profit hath an av of all his labor which he taketh under the sun?
One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the grid abideth for ever.
